Sorry, I have to disagree. Dogs are carnivores, so they would naturally consume a diet of almost purely meat. And meat is a proten. So a high protein diet is best for carnivores...their bodies are designed to eat a good deal of protein. I know there are many who feed their dogs raw, so they are feeding maily protein. High protein is only a problem if your dog has already existing kidney, liver or pancreas issues. Otherwise, I think a good quality, high protein diet is appropriate for their speces, as is grain free.
