Heav'ne is panting so hard and laying on her side then getting back up. She wants me near. please do not let mom sit in front of the fan, you do not want the puppies to be in any kind of a draft and get chilled. do you have a heating pad covered with a blanket or towel on low where babies can be while she is having the next puppy? Think of it like a human woman giveing birth, you see them breathing in & out with the contractions.
as for the whelping pudding i would not give any till she has had the puppies, if you want to give her something try softened vanilla ice cream after she has had the 1st pup, it will give her a boost of energy and help with the contractions.
