Bella is an escape artist. She is the only one of mine that is chipped. Maybe, it could save her, if some honest person found her and actually wanted to find her home. It doesn't hurt her, it can only possibly help if she gets away. She's so tiny. As far as micro chipping children goes....I've seen some irresponsible parents out there that can't keep up with their small children, and they could benefit from having their children chipped. Someone finds them....scan them and send them home. Are you kidding, you really think the United States Constitution is going to all your civil rights to be violated to the point that the government could put a mandatory chip in you? Won't happen. They don't need to anyway. They already know just about every move we make. We just want to do everything we can to keep up with our furbabies! It's extra protection for them for only a few dollars.
