Most dogs do prefer wet over dry!
I always mix Jackson's in very good with wet & dry, although now he will eat the dry by itself, at 9 months old. I still give him wet mixed in with kibble though every morning... make sure every piece of kibble has a bit of wet food on it, just use your hand or a spoon to mix it really good.
