I only bath Alfie when he is filthy
I have had working dogs in the past and have always been advised to bath only when they are dirty and smelly.
Too much bathing will wash the natural oils from their body and can possibly cause skin complaints, also the oils work into their fur and give good waterproofing and insulation.
Only my personal view, others may differ from my view. |
