We have a Yorkie and a cat. They have the best time together. I have done it both ways. Previously, I had another yorkie, Sunny and then added a cat. The dog raised the cat and it worked great.
Now this time, I had the cat first and then added the yorkie. Again, it worked great. They are the best of friends. The cats have always been very young. I have never tried it with an adults.
