Tell me your success stories on introducing a new puppy into a household of just one dog. I am having a tough time dealing with seeing my Marley all sad and resentful. We just got Colt today ( male chorkie) and she is so upset. She barely lets me touch her and she is staying behind the couch and sleepin there. she has never been the type to be like this. and she never stays behind the couch. we even put the new puppy in his own cage and they both have his and hers stuff so they arent sharing anything. She is just really making me and my DH sad. He even agreed for Marley to sleep with us tonite and that would never ever ever ever everrrr happen on a regular basis. he got pissed when I let her sleep in our bed when he was out of town. So even my husband has realized how sad Marley is.Please tell me how to ease into this new transition.
