Although as a breeder myself I can tell you that it is really hard to predict the exact weight of a puppy, it look like in your case , the breeder is misrepresenting the puppy.

You dog should still be under 4 lbs what is really small, enough to be carry around in a purse.

If you want it a VERY SMALL dog, here you go, you got one. Just enjoyed your new baby as he is.

I think the breeder should give you some compensation. since the dog was already bigger then he suppose to become adult when you got him. That doesn't look like a mistake to me...

As others already told you, if you are not happy with the dog , re home him or something. He deserved to be love...

Very sorry you have to deal with that crap...
