Thank you for the reply, quick update on this and I really need help, the tails on two of them ARE infected that much I know now I am taking them tomorrow I just want to know if they will be able to recover 100% I pray that they do. One seems like he will be okay, has a couple hole looking cuts on the tail and the other I'm a bit more worried about. She has a rough layer of skin on her tail that is red and swollen, on top of that the vet cut her tail so short that it is very very hard to grab it and hold it out the natural curve of it sends it downward into her butt area so it is difficult for me to treat myself.
Anyway can they recover? If they dont what are the risk? I'm fairly confident of the boy recovering I've been cleaning his out but the girl I am very worried about will she be ok? I'd feel terrible about not putting it upon myself to do their tails with a hemostat instead of taking it to a vet if she ends up injured by it longterm.
