I am so sorry for your sudden loss! It brings back memories of the loss of our EJ. He had been out in the lawn playing for a time and then began vomiting and having diarrhea. We rushed him to the vet and he couldn't figure out what the problem was. Within 4 hours he was dead. EJ was about 7 pounds. It is such a shock and I completely understand your pain and sorrow.
Everybody is different but I went right out and got another yorkie, it really eased my pain in keeping busy with the new puppy.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
