I am very sorry to hear of your loss...I can't imagine how y'all must feel. I too live in Georgia and one of my co-workers lost her puppy a couple of months ago. The symptoms sound similar. The vet told her that it was more than likely Parvo. He said that there has been a sudden outbreak of it in my area. The only place that her puppy had been was to Petco and to her home. I don't know if this was the case with little Ginger, but maybe this might help. If you don't mind me asking, what part of Georgia are you located? God bless.
