Hi, I havent bred before but from reading here this is what i found recommended for milk supply , giving her some goats milk. Aslo from debbie jensens whelping info site she recommends giving dam 2 teaspoons of dark beer (or light) for a 9lb dog to aid in producing milk.
For the tail docking I've seen yorkierose recommend the clamp and twist method. those that have used it say its best, no stitches needed and no bleeding.
