We introduced our first Yorkie, Toby, to our black lab/rottweiler mix. It was much easier than I thought it would be. Leia ignored him for the first few hours, then decided maybe he wasn't so bad after all. Leia had many health issues by the time we got Toby, and whenever Leia would cry out, Toby would go over and lay down beside her on her bed. When we had to have Leia put down Toby was lost without her. Just recently we brought our newest addition, Lola (another Yorkie) into our home. Toby was a little skittish for the first few hours also, but that's his personality. He is much more laid back than Lola, who I think sometimes we should have named Lucifer! She is a spitfire, but they are doing wonderfully together. I think Buster would love to have another Yorkie to snuggle with and play with, and it would probably be very good for mom and dad too!
