I lost my pup unexpectedly on June 1st. The first few days after his death I found that all I could do was think of him and cry. I don't even think I slept. After maybe day 4 I started looking for his things. I washed his clothes and put his unwashed blanket into a plastic tub. I located his toys and put them in the tub also. It takes a while to stop crying each day, but then I start looking at his pictures and remember how funy he was.

It is just going to take time, but by having someone to talk to does really help. I know my friends fielded lots of phone calls from me. Also there is a link at the top for Pet Loss Hotline and they are very sympathetic folks. You can also PM me. Even though its been 6 weeks, I do know what you are going through.

Hugs to you all.
