What at age did you send your pup to the groomer for the first time?
My latest one went for his first shampoo and set, manicure and pedicure at the age of 5 months. I groom them daily so he was used to being handled. I know he nipped the groomer tho' as he loves to chew on fingers and hands when they are in his way. No harm done. He had a lot of baby fluff in his hair and still looks like a hedgehog but it is growing out slowly. I find adding a bit of grooming oil to his coat helps get the snarls out and makes it easier for him. Any hair pulling makes him yap and then the fun starts. His favorite chewing toys are his brush and comb. Patience, patience and more patience...
