I can't really add anything that hasn't already been said. You have been given some great advice and I commend you for taking the time to research and consider all the possibilities first. Breeding is a very serious matter and can be very risky--even more so if you are inexperienced and ill prepared. It's definately something you need to look into in depth if you decide to try your hand at it. I would recommend that even while you are researching and deciding if it is what is best for you and your girl, you find a mentor to help you out.
