This would be a fine camera. 4 MP is plenty - with that, you can blow up your pictures nearly wall-sized.
Having a good image processor is VERY important and the larger LCD screen is also a plus.
The shooting modes and print/share buttons and stuff are all fluff. Don't let those things sell you the camera, honestly, it's just something to put on a box.
Fuji Finepix cameras are usually pretty good. My uncle is a photographer and has a Finepix SLR and loves it!
