Yea its normal for them to be groggy just as long as he is eating and drinking. Most yorkies don't have that much meat on them and the needle doesn't have much to go into and they can bruise pretty bad. you might feel a little bump in a few days too where they put the needle in. It will go away he is fine just be gental when you pick him up and where you pet him avoid the spot.
