As soon as it's had it's first two sets of shots, msot groomers will take it. I cannot stress enough how important it is to start them ASAP. As soon as they can, start taking them. It makes the biggest difference. We tell every client that gets a new puppy, start the grooming process as soon as possible including at home care. They have to have it done all of their life, so they need to learn as soon as possible that it's not a bad thing, it doesn't hurt them, and it makes it a lot easier on the dog and the groomer to work them into a regular grooming schedule.
