When I am going to be gone for more than 3-4 hours, I put my Yorkie in the bathroom. I leave a light on and put his bed, chew toys, pad, food and water in there. I make sure the toilet lid is closed, tissue put up, etc. so the room is very safe for him. I think he sleeps most of the time when we are gone. He rarely uses his pad or eats, but they are there if he needs them. |
