She is safer and secure in her crate. However, 10 hours out of the day....mmmmm is a bit much.
Do you have an x-pen. If so, that would be a better option. Place a small crate or tent in the x-pen. Pee Pads, water, food and toys..... I'd opt for adding a top to it, just in case she's a climber.
