I would suggest going to some shows in your area and try to find some others who might be able to help or mentor you. At the very least you will learn ALOT there but I would caution you, to breed these guys, you have to really love the breed because if you're doing it for some extra income, I'm afraid you're going to be very disappointed. It costs alot between vet fees, stud fees and other expenses. And Yorkies typically have small litters. You can easily see the people on here who only have one or two pups - or even none. So you have to be prepared to spend a fair amount of money with no guarantee that you will even recoup what you've spent. Don't mean to discourage you but I just want you to be prepared.... If it's something you have a passion for, do tons of research and try to find someone to mentor you! Good luck! |
