It stops Roxie too. Those things can be painful. Even if not against the skin they pull their hair. Her hair just winds around those things. She's had some pretty bad ones that have been matted up against her skin and the hair is tight pulling the skin. I swear they just reach out and grab her. I'm good at getting them out now. How they react to it could have something to do with coat texture. Roxie has a bit thinner coat so she pretty much feels everything that's not supposed to be there. She will stop and just start picking at it trying to get it out. I always have to bring her and get it out. Then we're back to normal and out playing.
