Yes. My dachshund had two false pregnancies after she was spayed. She was never bred. Both times she would nest in my closet with some item of my clothes she would dig out of the dirty clothes basket. She would round up several of her small stuffed animals and treat them as her babies for a couple of weeks. She would look like she gained a little and get milk. We took her in to the vet the first time and it was just a false pregnancy. We let her tend her babies as long as she needed to. Eventually she would abandon the idea and come out of the closet.
