My solution is to have all the carpet removed and tile or Pergo installed. Yorkies do sometimes get lazy. With mine I sometimes can't believe they do fine for months the all of a sudden pee on the floor??
I love them more than my house so I just clean it up....... They bring more joy than a nice house.....
