So today I went and bought window alarms for all the windows and the slider. I have the metal clamps that keep the window from opening and I bought a piece of wood for the slider to reinforce it. (FYI: I found the same window alarms that they sell for $6-10 at the Dollar Tree! So that saved me a lot because I needed 9 of them.
I bought the timers for the lights in my livingroom and bedrooms.
Jer wanted to rent a place right next to his work, literally, and I am going to stay there until October.
So I think we have the living situation worked out. They are going to call him tomorrow to let him know if they have a condo avaliable and when. Plus he gets a months rent free so that will work out perfect since we already paid this months we won't be losing much. I am waiting for my sister to get back into town as they had a long 4th of July and we are going to schedule a time to drop them off and set up. Someone will be with them 24-7 so I will have nothing to worry about there. I will just really be missing them
but I would rather them be safe.
