 Comfortis
I also have my pups on Comfortis since I moved from Washington State to California. They were on Revolution which was great and had heartworm included. However, after a long discussion with WA vet, we decided to change to Comfortis and Interceptor (heartworm, hookworm, roundworm & whipworm preventative).
So far, Charlie (12) and Sophia (6) seem to handle the parasiticides quite well. I don't like any chemicals on them but fleas = itch and tapeworms and heartworm needs to be prevented especially in Northern California. Ticks are a big problem since deer roam freely, so I check them daily for those creatures.
