Thank you everyone. We talked to him last night and there has been no change. The doctor did not see him yesterday. He was told to wait until his Friday appointment. He's going to call back today and try again. He's scared (though he hasn't said that) and discouraged. I'm a librarian so he asked if I could bring him out some audio books this weekend so he has something to do.
My DH just sent me a text message this morning saying that he's really struggling today. He's been the one that's been positive and reminding us all that it might just take time to heal.
