did you change your pups name? i gotto believe there are MANY people out there, who get pups with weird names and change them, but this one already is like 14 wks old, would it be unfair? i'm a sensitive soul, you all are probobly going DUH of course you can change it.
when we got our pug, he was also froma breeder, but not given a name, plus was only 8 weeks, so that was easy.
thanks michelle | Dont worry about it. U can change their name at any age. They will adapt. My first yorkie that was a rescue was 6 yrs when i got her. I changed her name and it was fine. My second yorkie was 2 yrs old when i got her and i also changed her name.
To get them to respond to their new name, just say the name and give them a treat right after. Do it over and over again and they will soon learn their new name.
Good Luck! |
