Hi!
One of my girls went through this when she was 7 months old. The surgery went fine and she did great and she was very small. Now, almost 2 years later, she can walk on it just fine but when she wants to run, she keeps that leg up. It doesn't seem like she is in pain at all, just able to run faster holding it up.
