You'll get more replies if you re post your situation separately. It's hard to help when one has to read throught two different topics, similar as they may be.
Mix his old food with the new gradually over a few weeks. Feed him in a separate room till his weight is acceptable and he feels more comfortable in your home. Then gradually move his food, maybe like a foot a day or so until he eats where you want him to. Be patient with him. You may have to separate them with a child's gate to make him feel safe when in sight of the other dogs. It may take time to do this, it's not going to happen overnight.

Also, take him to your vet to rule out and medical reasons for low weight before you start working with him.
