I would like to ask whoever is willing, to pray for our 19 year-old son, Matthew. He was wiping down some basement walls last Thursday with ammonia. He set the bottle up on the pillar above him and when he went to grab the bottle, he grabbed it wrong and it spilled into his face. He was alone but managed to flush his eyes and dial 911. They did all they could for him at the ER and then sent him on to a specialist. The doctor does not see any permanent damage to the eye and told him the vision should return in 48 hours. Now, 5 days later not only has the sight not returned, but has gotten worse.

He has no vision in the right eye and can only see shapes out of the left. He was supposed to call this morning for an appointment with another specialist for today. I have not heard yet if he got an appointment or not.

It's difficult to not be there for this and have to wait for news.
