Sprinkles would do pee / poo outside when I take him for a walk on the grass. For past 2 days he is not doing it outside but when i get him back to my apartment and put him back in his play pen, he will immediately do pee / poo on training pad....

Why is he doing this? I realised 2 things..
1) I bring him home within a few minutes after he does his thing outside...so now he is manipulating me to stay out for a longer time?
2) For past 1 week i take him outside the bldg and there is a busy road outside. Is the traffic noise bothering him so much that he loses concentration to go for "it" ?

Note the title says inside the pen but he goes it well on the training pad inside which is good..
