I'm really not a beach person, but lived there before I moved to Texas. I much prefer the mountains in the winter, that wonderful pure clean snow. Nothing like being on a ski trail and listening to the wind rustling through the pine trees. People think (well know ) I'm nuts, cause I go sking in a sweater, ski pants, gloves and ear muffs. While everyone else is bundled up with layers and layers, I'm perfectly comfortable.
