I wanted to thank all of you for your replies
For an update - I looked at tons of condos and houses and finally settled on a 925 square foot, top floor, corner condo! It was a three bedroom, but the previous owners knocked down the wall to the third bedroom to make a larger living room. There is more than enough room for Layla and I, and I'm hoping she will make the transition easily! We move in on August 1st
