You kno what I have tried this with Coco with a hotdog and she choked. For some reason she does not chew food she gulps it. I figured if I gave her large hot dog pieces she would have no choice but to chew. But she gulped it and it got stuck and she started making this little wheezing sound and it scared me to DEATH! I didn't know what to do so I just turned her upside down started hitting her on the back and she chucked it back up. I don't know if that was the right thing to do or not but I panicked and it worked. Maybe I need to take a dog cpr class in case this every happens again.
