I had a woman do the very same thing when Twinkle was younger....just pulled up beside me as I was walking her down the street and asked if I was interested in breeding my dog!
She had a female, and wanted to know if Twink was a male. It's such a weird thing to ask a stranger...she knew
nothing about my dog, but would happily have paid me to breed it with hers (if she had been a male)
Now that I have Wicket, a lot of people ask if I'm going to breed him with Twinkle when they find out I have a male and female. They look at me like I'm mad when I explain that Twinkle is spayed and I plan to have Wicket neutered (this Thursday actually!) Someone said to me once, 'Think of the money.'
