Actually, I don't spend the money on either type of wipe.

Remy has his own towels and washcloths that I use for his wipedowns.
He has a sanitary groom which really helps minimize issues with his private parts. I will wash his paws if he has gotten into something strange while outside, and I have to wash his face after he eats his yogurt - he manages to get it all over himself! Warm water, a teeny dap of his shampoo to make suds (if needed) and a thorough spot rinsing does the trick.
