Bath your dog as usual. Just before you are done, pour 1/3 of a cup of apple cider vinegar diluted with 2/3 of a cup of warm water over the dogs coat. Do not rinse. Comb through. The smell will dissipate and your dog's scaly skin and itchiness should be relieved. Plus, your dog should get a boost of a shine on the coat. Be careful of the eyes - cover the eyes when pouring it near the face/head area.
