Harley has been coughing some and doing that gag noise off and on for a while now. I read about the canine flu article about a week ago. We had to rush my moms terrier mix to the vet a couple days ago bc she was shaking, runny nose, high temp (106+), etc. It was scary so when she was being checked out the vet just totally threw my worries about her perhaps having the canine flue right out the window and said that they hadn't seen any cases in this area ever. But I'm not convinced. They said there's a simple test for it so why didn't they just give it to her anyway to be on the safe side? We would have been more than find w/ paying more for it. They ended up figuring out that her anal glands were swollen and needed to be expressed, which they did. But ahem.. Does her anal gland problem cause her other symptoms? I need help her ladies. This baby girl is around 13 yrs old, my mommas baby doll and we rescued her when I was in 3rd grade! So please help w/ tips if you can!
