I would suggest a trip to the vet as soon as possible. He may have two things going on at once. Reversed sneezing and whatever else his siblings had. I don't like the idea of treating an unknown illness with medicine not given to a specific pup for a specific illness. Plus, as stated above, he needs to be checked out with a total exam.
If you are going to crate train for pottying buy a small crate. If you are buying a crate to leave him in for long periods, buy a large one so you can include pee pads, bed, food and water plus toys. Confining him to the kitchen or a bathroom works fine and he has a sense of freedom as well.
At hiss age, he probably won't have sugar problems as long as he eats well but having NutriCal on hand is advisable.
Do some research on premium dog foods and select one. There is a sticky here under the health/diet section that is excellent. Kibble is going to be the best for him and not wet food except as an occasional treat or supplement.
