Let me first say how sorry I am that your pup and you are going through this. I know how hard this is, my first baby, Milkyway passed due to CHF and severe genetic anomalies. Near the end Milkyway threw up all the time, it was extremely heartbreaking. CHF effects their circulatory system such that the gastrointestinal track does not receive enough blood, which makes them feel full and nauseous; hence the vomiting. Try feeding him very small potions of food, just little bites at a time. Something very bland like chicken, but very small pieces, and only a very small portion. This may or may not help, depending on what stage of CHF he is in. How is his breathing? Is he panting alot? Has he developed severe edema? Milkyway ended up having a pot-belly due to the edema . I would definitely get him to the vet asap this week, as you know how they can change drastically with this disease. My heartfelt thoughts are with you, if you need to talk please feel free to pm me. Keeping you and your little man in my prayers. |
