My 4 year old Buddy has a history of 2 bouts of pancreatitis. He was a bit overweight and at the time my vet placed my baby on Hill's WD food. He has since lost the weight (2-3lbs) in 2yrs and has had no flare-ups since. This holiday weekend we ran out of his persciption food and I cooked up some instant white rice and canned chicken. He loved the change and I was wondering if this safe? I plan on purchasing more WD Monday, but just curious if this is something he can have everynow and then..It's definetly cheaper than the WD!
