 What to do?
I am no expert, but try giving her/him a goodie while attaching the leash. Also, since it is not eating, try treats. If you can't get it to eat, try some peanut butter, just a little on your finger or try Karo syrup. You need to get something into it.
Use treats as positive reinforcement for as long as you need to gain his/her trust. The longer you can walk him/her, the more of the aggression you will wear out of him/her. You need to do the walk thing everyday and for at least 30 minutes. I watch Ceasar and It's me or the dog. You can gain a lot of good info. from watching these programs. |
