This is the first dog I have owned that is meant to be raised indoors. Other dogs I have owned have always been outside dogs and larger.
This is all very new to me---Gracie has a pen and we have a kitchen to keep her in when we are all sleeping. With her being so small and untrained I dont want her roaming at night.
Here is the problem. She barks and whines most of the night. It is horrible! During the day she is great! She hardly ever has an accident and when she does it is our fault for forgetting to take her out.
Tonight she was laying on her puppy bed and I picked her up and put her in the pen....she has barked nonstop.
What can I do?
