Hello!
We just adopted a year old male yorkie named Brodie. We also have a 130lb Anatolian Shepherd, 2 cats, and 12 chickens. I'm also the mom to twin 3 year old boys
I am attempting to crate train Brodie and want to steer clear of the pee pads...my boys would play with them and my other dog would eat the mess.
From reading this forum I'm learning that yorkies are not the easiest dog to house train. Any tips are appreciated! I'm being very consistent with taking him out every hour, but he still prefers to pee/poop in his crate. I took some of the poop outside and put it under a tree which I take him to immediately when we go outside...but he still isn't getting the idea.
