I think she has picked you as "her person". My Piper is very friendly, but she definitely prefers me......she sticks to me like glue! I'm female, though.....so I can't say if they are like that with men. Since you don't know what her past was, she may have had a bad experience with children and that is why she isn't fond of your little girl.
