Baxter has 4 insect bites from black flies that he's been scratching and biting. They have scabs now but he's still at them because they itch. Does anyone know of a natural anti-itch I can use that won't harm him if he licks it?
The black fly problem is terrible this year. We have all been bitten up. They are usually at their worst in May, but this year they don't seem to be letting up. Maybe the cool and wet June we've had. For those that aren't familiar with black flies, they are blood-sucking little insects that cause a large, swollen welt. Very nasty.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
