You are so right Pat, people can put down anything. I normally do not fill out surveys, but was bored this morning. LOL I think too that as people deal with people they will learn if they are reptable or not. One needs to ask these questions and more questions need to be asked to the breeder. Check them out, ask about them to others. DO your reasearch!! Talk to the breeder a lot!! By discussion and research you will get a better fill of the breeder and they too will get to know you better. It is a big responsibility also when placing a pup and reputable breeders will not take this likely. They will also want to get to know the prospect parents/buyer to make sure they are placing their pup in the best possible home. It is a two way street.
So many things have changed over the years too. I have flown a pup to someone in cargo - this was years ago - but after a lot of emails and conversations by phone. Would I do this now - No. Things are so much different now and I am scared sending a yorkie on a plane alone. Also I prefer meeting the people.
