I taught Tbone to fetch when he was maybe 2 and a half or 3. I feel like he has been slow to learn tricks, but I like to call him ADD dog because he gets so hyper when trying to pay attention.
But we just used one toy for fetch and nothing else, and lots of yorkie yummies.
He loves it because I try to switch it up by throwing it over furniture or the bar in our kitchen so he doesn't see where it goes, and he has to find it and bring it back.
